Frugal & Faithful is an interactive, Bible-based, Canadian, financial literacy workshop I developed about five years ago, by request for my church.
Frugal by definition means carefully spending your money, not, as is often thought, a lifetime of poverty. Faithful, practical money management is rarely taught at home and most North American churches tread very lightly in this area.
Did you know there are over 2000 verses in the Bible that talk about money and possessions? I had no idea until I started doing the research for this workshop. What I learned has forever changed my life!
In addition to being taught from a biblical perspective, this workshop aims to teach practical, responsible money management and planning.
Everyone needs to make choices. Some people need to make more choices than others, but no one has everything.
In this five part, one day workshop we look at a number of common situations, how to plan for them, and when you can’t plan for everything, how to prioritize the things you must plan for.

(no, They’re not the same thing!)
some specifics
Each module is approximately 1.25 hours. The workshop can be presented as one full day, or split into one evening and a second shorter day. The modules are non-sequential and can be attended individually in a conference setting.
If multiple workshops are booked together, the per day cost is reduced since there are less travel costs.
This workshop is intended to lead attendees to begin a deeper journey with their faith and finances. It also dispells many common myths around spending, savings, debt and taxes. The information is presented in a friendly, informational manner.
